Pressure washing relies on force, which is perfect for hard surfaces like concrete and brick. Soft washing relies on cleaning solution and low pressure, ideal for siding, roofs, and wood.
Using the wrong method is the number one cause of accidental damage. Knowing which is which saves your surfaces and your wallet.
Quick rule of thumb
If it’s hard and durable, pressure wash. If it’s delicate or painted, soft wash. When in doubt, ask a pro.
