The fast version of this job takes fifteen minutes. Scoop the trough where it is easy to reach, push the rest toward the corner, load up, drive off. From the ground, the gutters look clean. The downspout is still blocked, and you find out in the first hard rain of November — or you do not find out at all, until the fascia has gone soft and the hangers start letting go.
We build our scope around the part you cannot inspect. Downspouts get flushed and confirmed running before the ladder moves. Anything we find gets photographed, whether or not we are the ones who would fix it. You get photos from the same angle, texted before we pull out of the driveway.

Water goes in the top, and we confirm it comes out the bottom. A clean trough feeding a blocked downspout is still a failed gutter system.
Debris hauled off your property
Leaves, shingle grit, seed pods, and nests leave with us. Nothing gets dumped in your beds, along your woods line, or left in bags for trash day.
Ground inspection for sags and loose fasteners
We photograph and report anything we find, whether or not we are the ones who would fix it. If your fascia is soft or a hanger has pulled, you know now instead of finding out in February.

Gutter face brightening
The black vertical streaking on the outside of your gutters is oxidised aluminium and roof runoff residue, not dirt. We treat and hand-wash the face so the outside matches the work we did inside.

Move water away from where the house meets the ground. When it stops, the water does not disappear.
THE RUN HAS TO CLEAR
Fascia and soffit rot
Overflow runs backward over the rear edge and down the fascia behind the gutter. You do not see it until the wood is soft.
Ice dams
Clogged gutters hold standing water that freezes at the eave. Meltwater backs up behind the ice and finds its way under the shingles.
Foundation water
Runoff dumping at the corner of the house instead of six feet out drives hydrostatic pressure against the foundation wall.

Do I need to be home?
No. We need access to the perimeter of the house and a spigot if we are flushing. You get a text when we arrive, photos when we finish, and an invoice after.
I have guards. Do I still need this?
Yes. Just less often. Guards keep leaves out of the trough, but they do not stop shingle grit, pollen, seed pods, or pine needles from building into a sediment layer.
